Job summary

Turner & Townsend is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team and support project management services. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide project support.

You will assist with submittals, RFIs, cost tracking, procurement, and reporting while helping to establish governance and processes across projects. This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and effective communication, with on-site involvement as client needs dictate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction.
• Proactive, organized, and thorough with a strong work ethic.
• Exposure to project management software systems.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager to ensure quality standards and on-time delivery.
• Manage submittal and RFI processes throughout construction.
• Assist with proposals for new projects or variations.
• Help establish project governance, processes and systems.
• Ensure information is shared and retained effectively.
• Build strong client and team relationships and interface with stakeholders.
• Attend meetings, update issues logs, and transcribe minutes.
• Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress to close items.
• Contribute monthly and executive reporting and dashboards.
• Support procurement, cost tracking, and SOX compliance as applicable.
