Job summary

Turner & Townsend is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to support project management services. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to keep projects on schedule, manage submittals and RFIs, support proposals, and help run governance and reporting processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field and at least 3 years of experience. Strong communication, Excel, and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related construction field.
• A minimum of 3 years of applicable experience.
• Proactive, organized, and thorough with a strong work ethic.
• Works effectively as part of a collaborative project team.
• Exposure to project management software systems.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Google tools.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager to ensure the project is managed to required quality standards and completed on time.
• Manage individual tasks during construction, including submittal and RFI processes.
• Assist with preparation of proposals for new projects or variations to existing projects.
• Help establish governance, processes, and systems to be used throughout the project.
• Ensure key information and data are shared and retained properly.
• Build and maintain strong client and team relationships, interfacing with stakeholders.
• Assist with flow of project information between team members and stakeholders.
• Attend meetings, update issues/actions logs, and drive items to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans and track progress and close-out open items.
• Contribute monthly reporting for the Client’s program and executive dashboards.
• Assist with procurement of suppliers/resources and monitor project costs.
