Job summary

Housing Authority of the City of Miami Beach is seeking a Project Coordinator/Engineer to support the project management group with documentation, procurement, bidding, cost control, expediting, safety, and administrative duties. The role focuses on learning project management principles and supporting field management across construction assignments.

The position requires a BS degree in a related field or equivalent on-the-job experience on similar projects, with a valid Wisconsin Driver

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in a related curriculum or on the job experience on similar projects
• Bachelor Degree from a 4 year University is required

Responsibilities

• Performs job responsibilities in alignment with company policies and procedures
• Collects and organizes information for project reports
• Assists management in transmitting contract documents, shop drawings, and subcontract documentation
• Assists management in cost control, expediting, quantity take-offs, and subcontract expediting
• Safety review of all job sites
• Develops understanding of project management principles including cash flow, client relations, and pricing control
• Learns and observes construction activities to assist field management
• Other responsibilities as assigned
