Job summary

Personnel Consulting Group represents an employee-owned construction company seeking a detail-oriented Project Administrator to join the Project Management team. The role supports start-up through closeout, handling contracts, compliance, billing, and records with precision.

The ideal candidate coordinates with Project Managers, field ops, subcontractors, architects and owners, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Office-based with site visits and ESOP benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business Administration, Construction Management or related field highly preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
• Prior experience in commercial construction administration.
• Experience with certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting (public, government, HUD).
• Hands-on experience with CMiC, Procore or similar platforms; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with administrative operations from start-up through final closeout, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
• Prepare, execute, and monitor subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders and project correspondence.
• Assist with certified payroll administration, tracking compliance and following up on missing documentation.
• Review subcontractor and vendor billing and verify payments against contracts; assist with owner pay applications.
• Maintain organized project records in CMiC including contracts, change orders, meeting minutes, logs, photos and notices.
• Support project closeout, track punch lists, manuals, warranties, as-builts and cost settlements.
• Maintain accurate project logs for company-owned and rental equipment.
• Act as central communication link between internal teams, field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, owners and design professionals.
