Urban Engineers in the Harrisburg area seeks a seasoned project administrative professional to support PMs on transportation design and construction projects. You will handle project docs, invoicing, and financial tracking while ensuring compliance with client requirements.

The role requires five+ years of project admin experience in engineering/construction settings, proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, and excellent writing/editing skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, communication, marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of project administration or project delivery support experience.
• Experience in engineering, architectural, construction or professional services is a plus.
• Experience with PennDOT ECMS is a plus.
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with project administration incl. ECMS, agreements, invoicing, correspondence and docs.
• Monitor project financials: budgets, invoicing, AR, expenses and performance.
• Assist with internal project setup, maintenance and closeout.
• Coordinate and review weekly timesheets and expense reports.
• Maintain organized electronic project files and document control.
• Coordinate office meetings, volunteer opportunities and events.
