Job summary

Heritage Glass, a Milwaukee-based commercial glass and glazing company, seeks a Project Accountant to support the financial and administrative operations of our construction projects. This role partners with project managers, field teams, vendors, and the accounting department to ensure accurate job costing, billing, documentation, and project coordination, with a focus on process improvements.

You will work across multiple projects to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance while upholding

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Construction, manufacturing, or related trades experience preferred
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business admin, or related field

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze WIP reports for financial accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate audits and year-end closing activities
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements and sales tax worksheets
• Code and enter invoices, expense reports, and job-costed timesheets
• Review subcontractor payments and process lien waivers
• Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and accounting department for project coordination
