Job summary

The Wieland Corporation is seeking a Project Accountant to serve as the financial backbone for project teams. You will support billing and pay applications, job costing, changes, and financial reporting across projects.

Travel to project sites and regional offices will be required. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, reconciling costs and sworn statements, overseeing subcontractor documentation, and ensuring adherence to contract terms.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of contract and financial documents.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in the construction field is preferred.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform project projections and budgeting monthly.
• Prepare Owner invoices and reconcile job costs.
• Maintain project file and subcontractor documentation.
• Handle AIA billing and monthly fee reconciliations.
• Communicate financial concerns to Finance leadership.
