Job summary

Heritage Glass, LLC in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Project Accountant to support the financial and administrative operations of commercial construction projects. You will work with Project Managers, field teams, and the accounting department to ensure accurate job costing, billing, documentation, and project coordination.

This role helps keep projects organized and financially accurate in a fast-paced construction environment, with primary office work in Milwaukee and occasional site visits

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of accounting, finance, or project accounting experience.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or trades preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Track job costs, project budgets, and financial performance.
• Assist with project billing, invoices, and collections follow-up.
• Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate job costing.
• Maintain organized project financial records.
• Support Project Managers with documentation, reports, and schedules.
• Track and maintain contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinate communication between office staff, field teams, vendors, and contractors.
• Assist with material ordering and delivery coordination.
• Track project materials and support inventory management.
• Prepare job startup and close-out documentation.
• Maintain project files, permits, and compliance documentation.
• Assist with expense reports and credit card reconciliation
• Provide general administrative support to the operations team.
