Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction Project Accountant to support residential construction, repair, and home services, handling accurate project billing, vendor invoicing, expense tracking, and job cost reporting. This on-site, permanent role in Los Altos offers strong compensation ($90,000-$110,000 annually) and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life, 401(k), PTO, and more.

You will collaborate with project services teams and field managers to keep job files current.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting for construction projects or home services.
• Strong invoicing, expense tracking, and vendor payment knowledge.
• Proficiency with project management tools, pref. Asana.
• Detail-oriented with ability to handle high-volume workflows.
• Ability to communicate with vendors, teams, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor, project service invoices, and expense reports accurately.
• Track project costs, estimates, approvals, materials, and service records.
• Coordinate with project teams, vendors, field managers, and accounting.
• Maintain Asana task updates for invoices, estimates, expenses, and docs.
• Assist with client-facing estimates, agreements, contracts, and billing docs.
• Support weekly reporting and project updates with accurate financial data.
• Identify discrepancies in invoices and project documentation.
• Ensure deadlines, billing milestones, and closeout items are met.
