Our Los Angeles-based client in high-end residential construction seeks a Project Accountant to own project-level billing and cost compliance for Los Angeles projects.

Main duties include client billing on AIA G702, monthly requisitions, PO management, invoices, and payment apps, plus insurance renewals, change orders, and retainage calculations. Requires attention to detail and accounting degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• SAGE is required; Intacct experience is preferred.
• Construction management accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail across high-volume project billing.

Our client is a high-end residential construction firm with a Los Angeles office, building and renovating luxury homes across the city.

The firm is seeking a Project Accountant to own project-level billing and cost compliance for its Los Angeles work.

Key Responsibilities

• Client billing on AIA G702 and monthly requisitions, including the pencil req.
• Purchase orders, subcontractor invoices and payment applications.
• Certificate of insurance compliance and renewals.
• Potential change orders and requests for approval.
• Retainage calculation and release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.

Compensation

• $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience.
