Jobot is seeking an Accounting Manager / Project Accountant for a construction-focused role in Concord, CA. You will manage the full accounting cycle for projects, oversee job costing, AP/AR, payroll support, and month-end close, while integrating data across Spectrum, Vista, Timberline, Procore, and Build Trade.

You will partner with project managers on budgets and forecasts, ensure accuracy of WIP and retention, and support audits and government reporting in a fast-paced, on-site environment

Formación

• Hands-on experience with Spectrum, Vista, or Timberline in a construction setting.
• Ability to diagnose ERP integration issues, ideally among Spectrum, Procore, and Build Trade.
• Strong working knowledge of construction accounting, including job cost, percentage of completion, retention, and WIP.
• A track record of accuracy and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Clear communication with project teams and leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the full accounting cycle for a construction company, including job costing, accounts payable and receivable, payroll support, and month end close
• Prepare progress billings, pay applications, retention tracking, and work in progress schedules
• Review subcontractor invoices, lien waivers, change orders, and compliance documents
• Reconcile project cost data and keep it accurate across systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve data and sync issues among the accounting platform, project management software, and field tools
• Support audits, certified payroll, and federal and public contract reporting
• Partner with project managers on budgets, forecasts, and cost to complete
