Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Project Accountant for its Fort Lauderdale office to support the accounting team and collaborate with Construction Project Managers on project billing and financials.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in invoicing and accounts payable, a relevant degree (Associates or Bachelor’s), and strong Excel skills. Experience with construction accounting and ERP systems is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field (open to Associates).
• Minimum 1–3 years of invoicing and accounts payable experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Background in construction accounting.
• Strong integrity, discretion and client service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing monthly subcontractor billing using Textura, including compliance tracking and payment authorization for subcontractors and subtiers.
• Recording billings and payments in the ERP system.
• Performing monthly reconciliations to ensure system accuracy.
• Assisting in the preparation and posting of monthly construction project invoices.
• Supporting job audits at various stages (pre, during, and post-project).
• Communicating with subcontractors and vendors regarding payment status.
• Handling general accounting tasks as needed.
