Job summary

CORE Construction in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Project Accountant to join our in-person team. You will partner with Project Managers to ensure accurate project billings, subcontractor payments, and job cost reporting, while maintaining rigorous financial documentation.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in accounting and at least four years of invoicing and accounts payable experience, preferably in construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 4 years of accounting experience with invoicing and accounts payable.
• Construction accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with Vista Accounting Software, Procore, and Textura Payment Management preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• High integrity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly subcontractor billing through Textura, including compliance tracking and payment authorization.
• Process and post billings and payments into the ERP system.
• Perform monthly reconciliations between Textura and ERP to ensure data accuracy.
• Assist with monthly construction project invoices posting.
• Support project financial audits before, during, and after project completion.
• Communicate with subcontractors and vendors regarding invoice status.
• Assist with job cost reporting and financial record maintenance.
• Perform general accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
