Job summary

Construction Company in Temecula, CA is seeking a Project Accountant with 5+ years of general accounting and at least 2 years in commercial construction accounting to join our Temecula office.

You will handle monthly client billing with AIA G702/G703 using Procore, assist with project costing, lien waivers, and collaborate with PMs to ensure timely payments.

Qualifications

• 5 years of accounting experience.
• 2 years of experience in construction accounting.
• Proficient with MS Office, QuickBooks, Procore.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly client billing package using AIA G702 and G703 based on % complete in Procore.
• Track mechanics lien waivers and preliminary notices down to supplier levels.
• Coordinate AIA billings with Project Management to ensure timely payments.
• Prepare subcontractor, supplier, and general condition payments against commitments.
• Maintain project folders with contracts, change orders, liens and invoices.
• Manage project job costing and reporting cash flows.
• Assist corporate accounting with credit card processing.
• Collaborate with team to support department goals.
