Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to manage the financial lifecycle of construction projects, from job costing to invoicing and reporting. The role requires hands-on experience with Sage 300/Timberline and Viewpoint systems, and a solid basis in construction accounting principles.

Onsite in Anaheim, CA, this permanent position offers growth opportunities and a competitive salary. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and at least 2 years

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficient in job cost, Construction Accounting, Project Accounting, T&M, Time & Material, time and material.
• Experience with Sage, Vista Viewpoint, viewpoint, job costing, AIA billing, and AIA invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project accounting, including job cost tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and submit AIA billing and invoicing.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate and timely tracking of project costs and revenues.
• Utilize Sage, Vista Viewpoint, and other accounting software to maintain accurate financial records and generate financial reports.
• Review and approve all project-related invoices and ensure they are coded and allocated correctly.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and forecasts, and analyze variances.
• Conduct financial analysis and prepare financial reports to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with the finance team and other stakeholders to improve financial processes and systems.
