Cook & Boardman, LLC is seeking a Project Accountant to support the Accounting Manager by handling pay applications and assisting with billing for construction projects.

Key responsibilities include reconciling jobs, researching change orders, generating Comsense reports, and ensuring proper project close-out. Strong Excel skills and clear communication are essential. This role operates in a professional office environment with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Associates’ degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Experience in both construction and accounting related positions preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsabilités

• Assist with billing, specifically for Locklear/Rogers projects.
• Reconcile jobs.
• Research change orders and help obtain change orders for all salesmen.
• Ensure proper project close out.
• Create Comsense reports and clean up WIP and sales orders.
• Research back charges, missing material, change orders, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
