Job summary

JRM Construction Management, LLC. is seeking a Project Accountant to manage concurrent Core & Shell and Interior projects. You will liaise between accounting and project management to ensure accurate billing and financial reporting.

The role requires reviewing contracts, managing pay applications, and generating timely billings. You will support cash flow and project forecasts, provide job costing input, and collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• At least 5 years of project accounting experience in construction (core & shell, ground-up, or interior build-outs).
• Familiar with cost coding, purchase orders, and contract terms.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project progress by processing and reviewing subcontractor AIAs for accuracy.
• Attend pencil meetings with Owner/Architect to ensure proper pay applications and coordinate invoices/payments.
• Review client contracts, subcontractor documents, payment terms, insurance, bonds, contingency, fees, lien laws, and waivers.
• Generate billings in Timberline and ERP systems, including waivers.
