Job summary

Corenic Construction Group seeks a Project Accountant to support the Accounting and Operations teams. The role interfaces between accounting and project management to assist in A/R, A/P and other accounting/project management tasks for construction jobs.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and have 3-4 years of construction project accounting experience with strong organizational skills and experience in AP/AR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-4 years construction project accounting experience.
• Strong organization skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Previous experience with AP/AR.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Project Managers regarding contract documents and changes.
• Enter bi-weekly payroll into ERP.
• Assist client billing to ensure costs are captured in monthly owner billings.
• Process project accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash receipts accurately.
