Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years accounting experience in construction or related industry with project cost accounting.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP and payment workflow systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, examines and analyzes project cost accounting records and reports.
• Performs cost transfers to accurately record job cost activity.
• Assists project team with interpreting financial KPIs.
• Prepares owner billing in compliance with owner contracts on a monthly, interim or milestone basis.
• Oversees processing of trade partner pay applications and reviews billings for accuracy.
• Monitors owner payments for contract terms compliance & follows up as needed.
• Assists with month-end reconciliation including unbilled reports.
• Provides analytical support regarding project status and performance.
• Assists in preparation of project-specific audits.
