Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Project Accountant to perform cost accounting, invoicing and financial reporting for assigned projects. You will analyze project finances, prepare owner billings, and support the operations team to ensure accurate closing.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in finance or accounting (or equivalent experience) and 2+ years of construction accounting. Proficiency in Excel, ERP and payment workflows is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required.
• 2+ years accounting experience in construction or related industry.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP payment workflow systems desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, examines and analyzes project cost accounting records and reports.
• Prepares owner billing in compliance with owner contract terms on a monthly, interim or milestone basis.
• Oversees the processing of trade partner pay applications for accuracy.
• Assists with month-end reconciliation and unbilled reports.
• Supports project managers with project closures and audits.
