Job summary

Nox Group in Reno, NV is seeking a Project Accountant to support large-scale construction projects. You will partner with Project Managers, Operations, and Corporate Accounting to ensure timely, accurate project financial data and maintain project profitability.

You will handle project setup in ERP, cost review, and month-end close, while supporting change orders, accounts receivable, and billing processes. A strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of project accounting experience.
• Familiarity with construction accounting in GC/Subcontractor environments is a plus.
• Proficient with Spectrum ERP; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain projects in the ERP system, including contract values, billing, tax, and phase codes.
• Review project costs and vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare monthly WIP forecasts and analyze profitability and billing status.
• Process change orders, manage subcontracts, and track compliance documents.
• Compile monthly billings, track payment status, and support collections.
• Support project closeout with final billings and lien waivers.
