Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Construction Manager in North Charleston, SC to lead on-site construction activities in a fast-paced, professional environment. You will coordinate with owners, contractors, and design professionals, while ensuring schedules, QA/QC, and safety standards are met to deliver high-quality projects.

You will apply your knowledge of construction principles, lead project teams, and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of construction management experience.
• OSHA and MSHA training and certifications are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily onsite construction activities with owner, contractors, design professionals and clients.
• Develops and coordinates project schedules, tracks deviations and suggests modifications.
• Reports deviations from contract documents and codes and ensures resolution.
• Schedules reviews and inspections and maintains records of activities.
• Meets with the project team to report construction status, issues and concerns.
• Ensures safety controls and promotes a safe workplace.
