Job summary

Stantec in the United States is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on-site construction activities within a fast-paced, professional environment. You will coordinate with owners, contractors, design teams and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, five years of construction management experience, and strong scheduling, QA/QC, and safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction management experience.
• OSHA and MSHA training and certifications are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily onsite construction with owner, contractors, design professionals and clients.
• Develop schedules, track progress, report deviations and recommend schedule changes.
• Report deviations from contract documents and codes, and ensure resolution with responsible party.
• Coordinate reviews and inspections and maintain records of activities.
• Prepare final closeout documentation and maintain project-related files.
• Promote safety and mentor construction administration staff.
