Job summary

Stantec seeks a Construction Manager to provide qualified leadership of program construction activities within a fast-paced design and delivery environment. You will work closely with the owner, contractors and design professionals to ensure schedules, budgets and quality standards are met.

The role requires extensive knowledge of design management, QA/QC, and safety practices, with responsibilities spanning from on-site coordination to final project closeout documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading program construction activities in a fast-paced professional environment.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC processes and safety controls.
• Ability to coordinate with owners, contractors, design professionals and clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily onsite construction activities with owner, contractors, designers and clients.
• Contribute to development and adjustment of project schedules; report deviations.
• Monitor construction progress to meet cost, schedule and quality targets.
• Review plans, submittals, RFIs, and pay applications; prepare closeout documentation.
• Mentor construction administration staff and promote a safe workplace.
