Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Construction Manager within Global Engineering Services North America Startup Engineering Risk Management to lead complex construction programs for sortation and distribution centers. You will manage schedules, risks, and coordination with vendors and internal teams to deliver on-time, on-budget builds and retrofits.

The role requires 50% regional travel, work from a corporate office when not traveling, and relocation support if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, or in a related construction discipline.
• 5+ years of project management experience spanning design through construction completion and handover.
• 5+ years of experience negotiating construction, procurement, and/or labor contracts.
• 5+ years of proficiency with AutoCAD and BIM, and scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar).
• Position includes travel up to 60% (Nationwide).

Responsibilities

• Manage lifecycle of challenging construction projects from design to handover, owning objectives and targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders and external vendors to meet milestones and drive schedules.
• Lead execution efforts for systems and equipment designs, ensuring standards and safety qualifications.
• Facilitate effective meetings, document decisions, and communicate status to leadership.
• Build strong relationships across projects and drive process improvements across teams.
