Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sr. Construction Manager within Global Engineering Services (GES) NA D&C to autonomously deliver complex construction programs across sortation centers and delivery facilities.

You will own design oversight, external partner performance, and procurement, with significant regional travel and mentorship responsibilities. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets, and drive risk mitigation, safety, and schedule adherence while coordinating with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of project management experience spanning design phase through construction completion and operational handover.
• 7+ years negotiating construction, procurement, and/or labor contracts.
• 7+ years of proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Building Information Modeling (BIM), and scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Own and enforce safety programs and standards across all project teams; set the safety culture.
• Oversee end-to-end project management services and external partner performance for complex projects.
• Lead external partner selection, contract negotiations, and project procurement.
• Review, analyze, and approve or challenge cost and time change requests.
• Write narratives and present complex decisions to Directors and VPs; communicate budgets and status clearly.
• Develop playbooks and drive adoption of best practices across the region.
