Job summary

Intelica CRE is seeking a Construction Project Manager in St. Louis, MO to lead high-level coordination across owned, managed, and tenant-leased properties.

This role focuses on oversight and coordination rather than hands-on construction, ensuring alignment with lease and business goals. You will liaise with ownership, legal, property management, tenants, and design teams to resolve issues, track progress, and manage change orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, real estate, or related field required.
• 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction design, architectural drawings, and bid documents.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to travel locally to various work site.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate kickoff, milestone, and closeout meetings to ensure alignment across stakeholders.
• Maintain a master timeline of construction and renovation projects, flagging delays and escalating issues as needed.
• Monitor general contractor performance and ensure they are delivering to scope, budget, and schedule.
• Review construction documents and scopes for clarity and consistency; flag concerns but defer technical design decisions to design and construction teams.
• Coordinate regular status updates to ownership and executive team without taking on executional responsibilities.
• Liaise with property management to ensure tenant impact is considered and addressed in construction planning.
• Review lease documents to identify and track project-specific requirements.
• Track invoices and final payments for owner and tenant.
• Manage change orders and make sure appropriate stakeholders have approved prior to work commencing.
• Implement and organize internal workflows and procedures for optimal project management performance.
• Work towards developing best practices.
• Value develops high levels of communication between stakeholders in the project.
