Job summary

ARCO/Murray is seeking a Project Manager Intern for Summer 2027 to support project managers from start to finish in construction. You’ll help with estimating, scheduling, design meetings, buyout, submittals, and billing while gaining hands-on experience on real projects.

You’ll work with engineers, architects, and owners, attend design meetings, and learn how to manage cost status and project performance from day one.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Engineering program or related field of study.
• Prior industry internship experience is a plus.
• Extracurricular involvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Estimating – describe project proposals and assign dollar values.
• Scheduling – create a working timeline for subcontractors.
• Design meetings – attend meetings with owner and team to understand design.
• Buyout – send bid instructions, schedule, and drawings to subs.
• Shop Drawing and Submittal Review – review drawings with PM and design team.
• Billing – assist in cost status, subcontracts, change orders, pay requests.
• Jobsite Visits – visit jobsite with PM and superintendent.
• Weekly Training Sessions – internal training for interns.
