Job summary

ARCO/Murray is seeking Project Manager Interns for Summer 2027 to support project managers across estimating, scheduling, design meetings, buyout, submittal review, billing, and site visits. This role provides hands-on experience in a design/build environment and weekly training to grow engineering and project management skills.

Qualified candidates are engineering students with a 3.0 GPA or higher, enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, with internship or extracurricular experience seen

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Engineering program or related field of study.
• Prior industry internship experience is a plus.
• Extracurricular involvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Estimate project proposals and assign dollar values.
• Create a working timeline for subcontractors to complete the project on time.
• Attend design meetings with owner and team to understand design pro structural engineers, architects.
• Send bid instructions, schedule, and drawings to subcontractors; evaluate proposals and award subcontracts.
• Review subcontractor drawings with Project Manager and design team and communicate with subs.
• Work with Project Manager to understand the business side of building such as managing subcontracts, change orders, pay requests, pay applications, and owning projects cost status.
• Visit jobsite with Project Manager and work with Project Superintendents to ensure the project is running smoothly.
• Weekly training sessions are provided to ensure interns understand their role and how the business operates.
