Job summary

The Hubbard Construction Company is seeking a Payroll Clerk to manage weekly and off-cycle payrolls with accuracy and timeliness, and to respond to client inquiries. Responsibilities include audits, reconciliations, wage garnishments, direct deposits, employment verifications, and resolving payroll issues while maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of payroll experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and semi-monthly payrolls and off-cycle bonus payrolls.
• Ensure accuracy of all payroll information entered in the system.
• Process certified payrolls weekly and correct any errors.
• Input and release wage garnishments; verify and input direct deposits.
• Perform employment verifications and resolve payroll-related issues.
• Assist with other projects and responsibilities as required.
