Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated seeks a Payroll Operations and Employee Service Specialist to coordinate daily payroll activities in partnership with a Managed Services Provider. You will process and analyze reports to ensure data for legal and tax purposes is accurate and auditable.

The role involves resolving inquiries from employees, managers, and stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and acting as a subject matter expert on time and payroll systems. A CPP or FPC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
• 3-5 years of multi-state payroll processing experience (5,000+ EEs).
• Experience processing payroll on ADP GlobalView, Ceridian Dayforce, or SAP, preferred.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) from the APA, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day payroll tasks with Managed Services Provider.
• Enter job, salary, and personal data not interfaced from HRIS to payroll system.
• Manage workload and payroll processing deadlines with MSP to ensure accurate, complete payroll.
• Analyze and resolve data discrepancies between HRIS and payroll databases.
• Review, correct, and approve data inputs; audit pre- and post-payroll reports for errors.
• Support garnishment process with MSP where required.
• Ensure audit compliance and internal control standards for documentation and accuracy.
• Serve as SME for time and payroll system functionality.
• Provide employee support regarding payroll records, time input, earnings, deductions, and taxes.
• Support HR Operational Services, Benefits, Compensation, and Finance with requests.
• Enter, follow-up, and resolve tickets in ServiceNow and CRM tools.
• Maintain confidentiality and SOX compliance at all times.
• Prepare and process off-cycle payrolls to ensure compliance with state regulations.
