Job summary

Calista Corporation is seeking a Payroll Technician - Construction to join the payroll team. This role supports accurate and timely weekly and bi-weekly payroll for multiple entities, including certified payroll reporting and related reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will have payroll experience, solid Excel skills (VLOOKUP and PivotTables), and the ability to manage garnishments, union dues, and deductions while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with payroll laws.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting with one year of payroll experience; or four years of payroll experience.
• Experience with multistate payroll, certified payrolls, and union reporting preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll laws and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing for multiple companies.
• Calculate retro payments and benefit true ups.
• Prepare and submit project certified payroll reports.
