Acara Solutions is seeking a Payroll Administrator in Buffalo, NY to join a collaborative payroll team. You will ensure accurate, timely weekly payroll while working with Finance, HR, and Operations on certified payroll, prevailing wage, and year‑end processing.

The role requires 2+ years of construction payroll experience, knowledge of Davis‑Bacon Act, and experience with UKG and Sage. Direct hire with competitive compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction payroll experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of the Davis-Bacon Act and certified payroll reporting requirements.
• Experience processing payroll with UKG and Sage.
• Experience handling multi-state payroll.

Responsibilities

• Administer weekly payroll, review time and deductions for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage certified payroll, prevailing wage, and union payroll for federal/state/public works.
• Serve as primary payroll system administrator, maintain employee data and system configs.
• Partner with Finance and HR on payroll processes, deductions, policy updates, audits, and tax notices.
• Support payroll tax reporting, year-end processing, and regulatory audits.
