Job summary

Utilities One Group in Dearborn, MI is seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Operations Program Manager to oversee multi-project construction efforts and lead client relations and operations. The role coordinates between clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and municipalities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within scope.

The OPM provides strategic leadership across concurrent projects and drives continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency,

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of telecommunications experience.
• At least 3 years as Program Manager/PM/Operations Manager.
• Strong knowledge of project budget management, scheduling, and tracking.
• Ability to travel to different job sites within the assigned market.
• A valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Ability to lift around 50 pounds, climb ladders, work in extreme weather.
• Ability to read maps, drawings, and diagrams for fiber construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead client onboarding and coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Oversee all project phases from preconstruction to closeout.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with permits and specs.
• Coordinate subs, crews, and field resources across projects.
• Monitor schedules, budget, and progress; provide regular updates.
• Approve scope changes and manage documentation and submittals.
• Drive operational excellence and growth initiatives.
