Job summary

Utilities One Group is hiring a Construction Manager / Operations Program Manager (OPM) in Detroit, MI. The role oversees client management, project planning, field operations, team leadership, safety, and financial oversight across multiple telecom, power, water, and data center projects.

You will drive efficiency, quality, and accountability while coordinating with municipalities, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

Minimum 5–10 years of telecommunications experience.
At least 3 years in program/PM/operations management.
Strong budget management, scheduling, and tracking skills.
Ability to develop execution plans and manage multiple projects.
Valid, unrestricted driver's license.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary liaison between clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and municipalities.
Oversee all phases from preconstruction through closeout.
Monitor schedules, milestones, and production goals.
Allocate resources and manage labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance (OSHA and codes).
Maintain documentation, submittals, and change orders.
Provide regular status updates and stakeholder coordination.
Drive operational improvements and support business growth.
