Job summary

CESO, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee multiple projects for several clients, coordinating with owners, GCs, engineers, and vendors to ensure scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.

This role requires leadership on-site and coordination of start-up activities. Responsibilities include reviewing docs, evaluating proposals, leading weekly meetings, and ensuring compliance with contracts, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field with a minimum of 4 years of direct project management experience preferred.
• Or 10 years related experience and/or training required.

Responsibilities

• Review construction documentation, including drawings, schedules, scopes, and reports, to support project objectives.
• Conduct detailed reviews of vendor proposals and awards in coordination with the client after negotiations.
• Follow standards for project reporting, documentation, and recordkeeping.
• Take overall responsibility for project start-up activities.
• Perform on-site reviews of construction progress to monitor schedule compliance.
• Schedule, lead, and document weekly project meetings during construction.
• Ensure contract terms and specs are met by inspecting ongoing work.
• Independently conduct punch-list inspections and site visits.
• Review monthly pay applications for accuracy and timeliness.
• Communicate project issues, cost/schedule impacts to leadership and client contacts.
• Ensure close-out documentation and punch-list items are completed before final release.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
