Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee home construction in assigned communities, ensuring quality, cost control, and schedule adherence. You will manage sites, trades, and inspections from pre-construction to move-in, while driving safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include daily site supervision, coordinating with internal teams, reviewing change orders, and maintaining thorough documentation. A high school diploma and construction experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires experience in residential construction management.
• Ability to read blueprints and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with construction management software and technology to streamline workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all construction activities from inception to move-in, managing job sites and schedules.
• Conduct twice-daily home walks to monitor progress and ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Supervise pre-construction meetings, pre-drywall meetings, and final presentations.
• Negotiate cost-effective resolutions with inspectors and trade partners to support budget adherence.
• Manage daily trade partner communications and invoice approvals in Build Pro.
• Provide feedback on trade partner timeliness and quality to improve relationships.
• Maintain safety logs, conduct on-site safety meetings, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Record documentation and manage change orders, purchase orders, and safety logs.
• Collaborate with sales, customer care, and management for effective communication and resolution.
