Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee home building in assigned communities, ensuring quality, cost control, and schedule adherence.

You will supervise job sites, conduct regular walkthroughs, and collaborate with trade partners to deliver zero-defect homes while maintaining safety and compliance.

This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction software, and the ability to read blueprints in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in home building or construction.
• Experience in residential construction management is required.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Build Pro, Procore, and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read blueprints and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all construction activities from inception to move-in, managing job sites and schedules.
• Conduct twice-daily home walks to monitor progress and ensure quality while maintaining schedule.
• Supervise all construction activities on homes from start to finish, including pre-construction, pre-drywall, and final meetings.
• Negotiate solutions with inspectors and trade partners to control costs and maintain CIP.
• Manage daily trade partner communications and invoice approvals through Build Pro.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and problem resolution.
• Maintain safety logs and ensure compliance with building codes.
• Plan inspections according to County, State & Federal guidelines.
• Maintain records of change orders, purchase orders, and safety logs.
