Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee home-building activities in assigned communities, ensuring quality, cost control, and schedule adherence. You will supervise trade partners, conduct regular progress walks, and lead pre-construction and final walkthroughs.

Responsibilities include budget-conscious decision-making, on-site safety, compliance with building codes, and close collaboration with internal teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred, or 3–5 years' experience in home building/construction.
• Residential construction management experience required.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Build Pro, Procore, and other construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all construction activities from inception to move-in, managing job sites, scheduling, and supervising trade partners to ensure adherence to project timelines and scopes of work.
• Conduct twice-daily home walks to monitor progress, uphold quality standards, and maintain schedule compliance while optimizing profitability.
• Supervise all construction activities on homes from start to finish, including pre-construction meetings, pre-drywall meetings, and final presentations.
• Negotiate solutions raised by inspectors and trade partners to support budget adherence and CIP.
• Manage daily trade partner communications and invoice approvals through Build Pro.
• Provide trade partner feedback to Lead Construction Manager regarding timeliness and quality.
• Ensure job site cleanliness, safety, and adherence to building codes to mitigate compliance risks.
• Maintain accurate safety logs and address regulatory concerns.
• Perform Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan inspections as required.
• Maintain records and oversee the construction process including pre-construction meetings and final walkthroughs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and problem resolution.
