Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience plus 2–4 years in construction.
• Able to read blueprints and interpret plans.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience directing trades and managing schedules.
• Knowledge of building codes and permitting processes.
• Budgeting and cost-control capabilities.
• Proficient with construction scheduling software.
• Basic computer literacy and software use.
• Customer-focused approach to homebuilding.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the scheduling and supervision of daily trade partner activities and evaluate quality and efficiency.
• Review and modify construction drawings when plan errors or conflicts arise.
• Evaluate project schedules and modify resources to meet timely completion.
• Ensure each home is complete on schedule and meets safety and contract obligations.
• Manage the customer experience with regular progress updates and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Community Sales to manage performance and customer activities.
• Perform daily site inspections to ensure safety and code compliance.
• Negotiate, create, and authorize field purchase orders for materials and labor.
• Inspect trade partner workmanship and authorize payments when standards are met.
• Work with Product Development, Process Improvement, and Purchasing on improvements.
• Evaluate work for building code compliance and quality.
• Participate in trade partner recruiting and vetting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
