Job summary

PulteGroup is hiring a Construction Manager to oversee daily trade partner activities and ensure on-time, high-quality home construction. You will review plans, supervise crews, and manage safety, budgets, and customer communications throughout the build process.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), 1–2 years construction experience, and strong reading of blueprints with excellent communication skills. On-site role in Greenville, SC with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of construction experience or equivalent is recommended.
• Ability to read blueprints and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling and supervision of daily trade partner activities.
• Review and modify construction drawings when plan errors arise.
• Evaluate project schedules and modify resources to meet needs.
• Ensure homes are completed on schedule with safety and contractual compliance.
• Stop work that is not satisfactory or noncompliant with plans or codes.
• Manage customer experience with regular progress updates and solutions.
• Collaborate with Community Sales to monitor performance and activities.
• Perform daily site inspections for safety and SWPPP standards.
• Coordinate with teams to improve plan quality, schedule adherence, and budget.
• Evaluate trade work for codes and standards compliance.
