Job summary

PulteGroup is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to oversee daily trade partner activities, ensure safety, and keep home builds on schedule. You will review drawings, adjust schedules, and manage budgets while maintaining a superior customer experience.

You will collaborate with product development and purchasing teams to address plan quality, schedule adherence, and trade performance, while recruiting and vetting partners to meet standards on every site.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of prior relevant construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling and supervision of daily trade partner activities; evaluate quality and efficiency of their work.
• Review and modify construction drawings when plan errors or conflicts arise.
• Evaluate project schedules and modify resources to reflect needs to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure each home is complete on schedule and all contract obligations and safety protocols are met.
• Stop any work that is not satisfactory or noncompliant with plans, specifications, or applicable code.
• Manage the customer experience throughout the construction process with regular communications and problem solving.
• Interact with Community Sales to manage community performance and customer activities.
• Complete daily inspections to ensure site safety and code compliance.
