Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a motivated intern to gain hands-on experience on a Toledo-area project. The role involves assisting the project team with coordination, reporting, and documentation while applying classroom knowledge to real construction activities.

You will participate in site visits, learn safety protocols, and support preparation of drawings, RFIs, and subcontractor communications under supervision.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college/university degree program or Co-op, minimum 1 year completed.
• Desire to learn about construction management and industry.
• Able to work standard hours and overtime as needed.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day activities to develop knowledge in construction management and project lifecycle.
• Work at active construction sites or main office; support project team with coordination and reporting.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and orient themselves to safety protocols.
• Assist with project startup activities and support to Project Engineer/Manager.
• Help collect information for shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
• Prepare information for contract requirements and prepare estimates for changes.
