• Enrolled in a college/university accredited degree program or Co-op, 1 year completed education preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age to work on a construction site.
• Desire to work in construction management and to learn about the industry.
• Commitment to standard business hours and potential overtime.
• Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Ability to read and comprehend written information.
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn and participate.
• Able to work independently or in a team with direction.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist project team with meeting coordination, material tracking, file management, and progress reporting.
• Follow project site signage, supervisor instructions, and safety protocols.
• Provide progress reports and learn about construction management processes.
• Apply classroom knowledge to on-site activities and relate it to real project tasks.
• Maintain professional relationships with employees, customers, clients, and subcontractors.
• Participate in training, meetings, and orientations.
• Support with quantity takeoffs and shop drawings or RFIs as applicable.
• Assist with project start-up activities and document control.
