Job summary

Turner Construction Company, Cleveland Main division, seeks an Intern/Co-Op to assist on active construction projects, gaining foundations in construction management, safety, and project coordination. You will support meeting coordination, documentation, and progress reporting while learning from on-site leaders.

Applicants must be enrolled in a college program (Engineering/Construction Management preferred), be 18+, and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college/university program or co-op, with 1+ year of study completed.
• Desire to work in construction management and learn about the industry.
• Commitment to standard business hours and overtime as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist on active construction projects, supervised, to build foundational knowledge.
• Support meeting coordination, material tracking, file management, and progress reports.
• Follow safety protocols and utilize PPE as directed.
• Relate academic knowledge to on-site activities and learn from project team.
• Prepare correspondence and communicate with architects, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
