Job summary

The Shelly Company is offering an Intern - Construction Management position in Ohio. You will gain exposure to project management, asphalt plant operations, and field crew activities while pursuing a degree in Construction or Operations Management.

You'll work with experienced professionals, learn about contracts, bidding, cost reviews, and basic P&L concepts, and develop practical skills across multiple facets of heavy civil construction within a CRH company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a related degree in Construction Management or Operations Management.
• Strong proficiency with Windows, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel and to work nights and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project management for public and private jobs, including bidding and contracts.
• Support asphalt plant operations and yard crew activities.
• Join construction crews to learn job setup and foreman coordination.
• Work with operations management on monthly projections and job cost.
• Learn aggregate materials, logistics and customer relationships.
