Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, invites applications for a Quality Control Intern position in Ohio. You will engage with a vertically integrated operation and gain exposure to customer specification requirements in construction management and related lines of business.

Responsibilities include learning HMA production, QC methods, density control, and documentation of test results. Travel and variable hours may be required, with emphasis on safety and ethics in every task.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an accredited degree in Mining Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist with quality control testing and data reporting.
• Learn HMA production processes and paving/density control.
• Support QC technicians and communicate results to paving personnel.
• Ensure data entry into lab/computing systems.
• Adhere to safety and ethics policies.
