Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a Construction Management Intern to gain hands-on experience across project management, bidding, plant operations, and field crews in Ohio. You will work closely with estimators, superintendents, and operations staff to understand cost, scheduling, and safety practices while supporting daily operations.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Construction or Operations Management and are proficient in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Construction Management or Operations Management.
• Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Two to four years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Project management for public and private jobs.
• Learn how to find, bid and build heavy construction projects.
• Work with current bidding software and set up contracts and sub contracts.
• Assist the estimators and project managers.
• Support asphalt plant operations and maintenance.
