Job summary

CMTA, a Legence Company, seeks a motivated Construction Management Intern/Co‑op to support our construction team on commercial HVAC/mechanical systems projects. You will gain hands‑on experience in pre‑construction planning, project coordination, and fieldwork, with opportunities to travel to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s in construction management, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• Basic understanding of construction processes and HVAC systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pre‑Construction: review drawings, assist in subcontractor selection, and RFP coordination.
• Construction Phase: help with scheduling, safety documentation, and vendor submittals; attend meetings.
• Post‑Construction: organize closeout materials, warranties, and owner training.
