Job summary

NVR is offering a 12-week Construction Management Intern program that provides paid experience across multiple business segments in the homebuilding industry. You will shadow a Project Manager in the field, work with on-site subcontractors, and interact with customers building their new home.

The internship also offers rotations in Sales & Marketing, Land Research, Building Products and Mortgage Banking to give a broad view of operations.

Qualifications

• Highly driven with leadership skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers and business partners.
• Currently enrolled in a college degree program, and preferably scheduled to graduate within 12 months of the internship.
• Current Driver’s License (required)

Responsibilities

• Shadow and assist an experienced Project Manager in the field.
• Work directly with on-site subcontractors.
• Interact with customers building their new home.
• Sales & Marketing: Work alongside the sales team and customers to understand the new home sales life cycle.
• Land Research: Learn how industry leaders forecast and prepare for future homebuilding activity in a growing metropolitan area.
• Building Products: Tour production plant and architectural design offices.
• Mortgage Banking: Exposure to the home loan financing process.
